Having already chosen in high school to pursue a career in construction, John continued his education at the college level, enrolling in the Construction Technician Program. Following college, John furthered his education to the level of Architectural Technologist. Through continued education via trade shows, seminars, and reading materials, John continues to stay current on building techniques, materials, energy efficiency, as well as current trends and styles in home building and renovation.
A devoted family man, John enjoys family time, volunteering, reading, and is always thinking outside the box as to how and why things go together.
John's strong Christian faith continues to allow him to see beauty in much of God's creation, and to take that excitement and passion into the design of the houses they build and renovate. His faith is also evident in the honesty and integrity in which he operates the business.
Having experienced that life sometimes can be hard, and having experienced the privilege of having four sons grow up, John knows that it's helpful to have not only great people close by, but an open and inviting house to make it even more enjoyable.
Jeff has been employed at Harse Homes since June 2001, and is involved in all on-site building work and also in some of the home design. Jeff married his wife, Rachel, in September 2007, and is an active member of the Rehoboth United Reformed Church Hamilton. When not busy designing and building great homes, Jeff enjoys playing sports, particularly hockey, baseball, and golf.
John has worked with Harse Homes since 1985. His exceptional craftsman abilities are evident in the many homes he has built and renovated and, along with his friendly personality, John creates a worry-free and enjoyable experience for Harse Homes clients.
John is an active member of Flamborough Canadian Reformed Church, and enjoys spending time with his wife and children, volunteering, and biking.
|John was able to take our ideas for a house and put them on paper. And from there, along with the expert help of Jeff and John, he was able to build us a house we are so thrilled to call our home - Rob & Diana Malda, Waterdown, ON|
